What Is A Modded Controller And Do I Need One?

We know that this is a bit of a philosophical question, but it is something many people wonder before they decide to take the plunge and buy one of our epic controllers.

Basically, a modded controller is exactly what it sounds like. It is a controller that has been modded to make your Call Of Duty, Battlefield, Gears Of War or many other different shooter games that little bit easier, fun and more convenient to play.

We have modded controllers for Xbox One, PS4,PC and even Xbox 360. So no matter what you are gaming on, here at Mods “R” Us, we have you covered. Our modded controllers are just top of the line all the way. What is really cool is that you can even use them as a regular controller so you can have them always plugged in and not have to worry about switching controllers when you are playing a game that does not require one of our epic modes.

In regards to the question, do I need one? We feel that if you are struggling to keep up with your buddies or if you are sick of finishing a game of Black Ops 3 Team Deathmatch with a 2/20 kill death ratio. Then our modded controllers are certainly ideal for you.

How Rapid Fire Works In Any Game

One of the most asked about features of our Xbox One and Xbox 360 modded controllers is rapid fire! Rapid fire is pretty damn awesome in a shooter it turns pretty much any weapon into a fully automatic one! But Rapid Fire is more than just a mod to help people win in Call Of Duty, Battlefield and other first person shooters!

That is right while on the surface, this is what Rapid Fire is all about. It can actually be used with any game that requires you to mash the button really fast. A game like WWE 2K17 requires you to mash the button to avoid getting pinned, forget that! Just turn on Rapid Fire and hold down the button! If you want to just spam attacks in a fighting game like Killer Instinct or Mortal Kombat XL, save your fingers the trouble and just hold the button down instead of having to mash it.

Now you may be asking yourself, “how is Rapid Fire any good when only shooters use the triggers” but that is another part of the charm of our modded controllers. You see our epic Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers allow you to map Rapid Fire to any button that you want!

This is really cool and makes it so you can assign the Rapid Fire mod to the button that is most convenient to you! So if you need to press A really fast, change A to the button that has the Rapid Fire mod. It is very easy to do and will make your gaming session easier and way more fun.

Rapid Fire is a really cool mod and as you can see thanks to being able to remap the mod to any button you want. It can be used in any kind of game!

Mods “R” Us Expanding Into The World Of YouTube

Hey, guys, we wanted to share with the awesome new Mods “R” Us YouTube channel. A ton of people are always asking just how does a modded controller work? How does it give me an edge? And also just a ton of other questions about the ins and outs of modded controllers.

Well, thankfully there is a much easier way to see just how much of an edge a modded controller can give you over the competition and that is with the new Modsrus Controllers YouTube channel. It is a pretty new channel and there is already a very decent selection of videos for you to check out.

You can see the controllers in action on some pretty cool maps. There is a 102 kill streak in Nuke Town on Black Ops 3 that is a ton of fun to watch and also helps showcase just how cool these controllers are and how much they can help you wreck the competition. If you are a Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 fan then you really are going to get a kick out of this first batch of videos they have uploaded.

The channel is really cool and if you love gameplay videos, you will love this. But as the game is being played with a modded controller, the videos are extra cool and they really do a great job in showing off the power of these controllers.

Some Awesome Black Ops 3 Videos You Have To See

One of the best ways that you can see just how great the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC modded controllers from Mods "R" Us are is by having a good look at their brand new YouTube channel. There are some great videos on there, but today we are just looking at a couple of the “greatest hits” if you know what we mean.

35 Kills Playing Team Deathmatch on Redwoods is the first video we want to mention. Out of all the maps that the game offers this is one of the coolest and one of the best in the whole Call Of Duty franchise actually. It looks great, has a ton of places to hide and ambush and from this video, you can see just how much damage can be done with a controller that is fully modded.

Another really cool video that is very impressive is 102 Kills In Nuketown this is such a great map and one that really is a ton of fun to play. If you are the kind of player who takes the amount of kills they get in a game just as serious as if their team wins or not. Then you are going to get a real kick out of this video.

With 102 kills, you can see some epic action, get some great ideas for how to be better on this map yourself and of course see just how much of an advantage a modded controller gives you.

Supply Drops Returning In Call Of Duty WW2

Here at Mods “R” Us, we are really excited for COD WW2. It is one of the most exciting looking Call Of Duty games in years and we are always looking to share anything we find interesting about the game with you.

Well just a few hours ago (as of writing this blog post) it was revealed that supply drops will be returning in Call Of Duty WW2. We thought that supply drops were pretty cool and while it was always just about luck in terms of what you got, it did feel cool when you got an elite weapon or some really cool piece of gear that would give you an advantage.

Well, supply drops are not going to work like that in WW2. We find this very interesting. From the sound of it, you will earn supply drops in the same way we always have. But any weapons or gear that you get will not have increased stats over the regular weapons in gear. Instead, it will be all cosmetic.

This is a kind of strange decision. On one hand, it keeps everyone on a level playing field. On the other hand, is Activision only doing this because they want to make sure all the better weapons have to be paid for with real money and cannot be earned in the game?

Supply drops in Call Of Duty are never a bad thing and we are very interested to see just how these only cosmetically different items are received by the Call Of Duty community.

Now some people will probably not care about how our modded controllers work as long as they just work and they are helping them kick some serious ass in their favorite first person shooter. But for those who are at the very least a little bit interested in how these work. We are going to give you a little bit of info about how the magic of Mods “R” Us controllers work!

The way that the mods work on our controllers is pretty simple. There is a super special button on the underside of the controllers. What is this button? Well, that is the mod button and this is pretty much all you need to turn on and off the various different mods. It is very easy to use. You press the button in conjunction with another button on the controller to turn one of the awesome mods on. It honestly is that simple.

We will give you all of the easy to follow information about what each button combination is and how to activate each and every mod so do not worry. It is that simple, most people after they have used the controllers for a short while will know their favorite mod off by heart and not even need to read how to activate it.

So there you have it, a modded controller really could not be any easier to activate and we are sure you will get the hang of it after just a few minutes!
