Is It Worth Getting The Call Of Duty WW2 Season Pass?

Call Of Duty WW2 Xbox One Rapid Fire Controllers Ps4 Mods

With Call Of Duty WW2 being out for over a month now, some of you who purchased just the standard version of the game may be ready for something new. You have probably completed the campaign, played each multiplayer mode to death and fought on each map so many times that you know them like the back of your hand. Season passes are the done thing in games these days and while it may be easy to point at the Call Of Duty WW2 season pass and say it is Activision being greedy, we do not actually think that it is.

The other day we covered how the first DLC for Call Of Duty WWII is called the Resistance Pack and it is offering a whole lot of content including new maps, a new War Mode scenario and much more. It is a great way that you can have some extra fun with this year’s Cal Of Duty game.

We think that before you pass it off as just a cash grab, think about how much you like Call Of Duty WWII and if you do really like the game, what harm is there in paying a little bit more to get content throughout the next year? The season pass actually gets you four new packs (including January’s Resistance Pack) and each one is bound to feature similar content so you are actually getting quite a lot of content for your money.

If you bought Call Of Duty WWII, beat the campaign, dabbled a little bit in the multiplayer and have not really touched it for a couple of weeks, the season pass is not for you. But if you still find yourself firing up the game a few times a week, maybe even daily. You will certainly feel that the Call Of Duty WWII season pass is giving you very good value for money.

Getting rid of the create a class system and adding the new Division system in Call Of Duty WWII was a brave step. To be honest with you, while at first glance it may seem like a radical departure, it is very similar to what we have been used to for the last 10 years. Today though, we are taking a closer look at Airborne Division.

We really like the Airborne Division in Call Of Duty WWII. It offers you a kind of run and gun style of gameplay, but it is a little stealthier than what Infinitry Division offers. It is the Division Skill that makes this such a popular “class”. You see you can get a suppressor which hides your fire on the map, but at the result of losing a little accuracy, but if you are playing as Airborne Division to be more stealthy, it does not matter.

If you are the kind of player who likes to get in and out of a situation, Airborne Division is for you. Some of the other perks that are offered are about letting you run faster, longer and also allowing you to climb quicker. It is great for getting in, taking someone down quick and then getting out of there before their buddies realize what went wrong.

The Thompson M1928 is the primary weapon and with the suppressor, as you will be trying to get in and close, we really think this gun is fine for most people. Sure tinker around a little and see if another loadout suits you best. For us, though it is the way you move quickly and quietly more so than the actual loadout that makes Airborne Division one of the best classes in Call Of Duty WWII.

Tips For The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign

Tips For The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign

I know that many people buy a Call Of Duty game and just skip the campaign. These people are doing themselves a huge disservice as honestly, most of the Call Of Duty campaigns are great and Call Of Duty WWII is no exception. I recently played the campaign for a second time (on a harder difficulty) and wanted to share a few tips with you.

Do Not Waste Health Packs!

In Call Of Duty WWII, you have no regenerating health and you can only carry four health packs at once. If you use a health pack to heal just a tiny bit of health, you have wasted that whole pack, only use a health pack if your health is at least half gone. Also remember that if you get stuck, you can get a health pack from Zussman.

Use The Most Powerful Weapons

You do not have to keep scrambling for new weapons as you keep running out of ammo. Call Of Duty WWII is actually very generous with its ammo crates. But even better than this is your squad mate Turner, who you can run to and he will fill up your ammo, no matter what weapon you have. So if you have one of the more powerful weapons and run out of ammo. Do not ditch it, make use of your pistol and make your way to Turner and he will hook you up.

Watch Out For Grenades

I would say that 9/10 times I died in the campaign it was because of a grenade. The Call Of Duty WWII campaign has a ton of stuff going on all the time so it can be hard to notice when the enemy throws a grenade. These guys are not shy about throwing grenades so keep an eye out for them.

The History Of The Rainbow Six | Raven Shield
The History Of The Rainbow Six 3

Get ready for some more tactical shooting action as we are now on part three of our Rainbow Six retrospective.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield (2003) PC

In 2003, the Rainbow Six series would take a few steps towards falling in line more with what other console shooters were offering at the time. As crazy as it sounds, this is the first game to allow you to actually see your gun like in a regular first person shooter. Rainbow Six 3 would also be released on console, but those versions were vastly different

Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield featured a pretty cool story that started way back in the 1940,s where there was something of an evil Croatian regime that was topped and the men behind it disappeared. The story fast forwards to modern times where Rainbow team is required to stop a range of terrorist attacks which open up a whole can of worms and have a link to events of the past. Like all Tom Clancy games it is a story full of twists and turns and it was generally very well received.

Gameplay wise, Raven Shield offered what Rainbow Six fans had come to love about the series. In depth tactical based combat. But the vastly increased amount of weapons and more action heavy sections showed that the people behind the game knew where the first person shooter genre was heading and this was their attempt to keep their current fan base all the while pulling in that hardcore FPS player.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield sold millions of copies, had many expansion packs and was critically acclaimed by nearly all who reviewed it. It still stands as one of the most popular games in the series.
