New Call Of Duty WWII Multiplayer Modes
In a recent interview, Michael Condrey one of the brains behind Call Of Duty WWII was speaking about the game. He was talking about the future of the game and how excited people were for Gun Game coming back.
One game mode that was discussed was Ground War and if that was in the plans to return to Call Of Duty WWII. Unfortunately, Ground War is not coming to WWII. The reasons that he gave for this were that the maps are simply not built for this kind of game mode. Ground War was all about 9 V 9 and he says that the maps would not be suited for this.
Also, he makes the point that the “lack” of game modes was done on purpose to keep the community more together and lobby times down to a minimum. We know that this kind of sucks, but at least there is a reason for it and to be honest getting a game in Call Of Duty WWII takes no time at all so they are clearly on the right track here.
While he did not say what new game modes would be coming to Call Of Duty, he did mention that they are looking to add new modes to the game. So we can say for pretty certain that there are new multiplayer modes coming to Call Of Duty WWII, but what these are is a mystery to us.
One thing that I personally would love to see is not actually a brand new game mode, but more done with WAR mode. WAR mode was one of the best additions to Call Of Duty WWII and many of us would love to see more maps, more objectives and extra things added to this.
What Do We Know About Call Of Duty 2018?
Yes we are still having a blast with Call Of Duty WWII and we have some awesome expansion packs to come during 2018, but we all know that the next installment of the monster franchise is deep in development.
We wanted to take a look at what we actually know about Call Of Duty 2018. To start with we know that this year it is Treyarch’s turn to helm the Call Of Duty ship. Their last game was the excellent, Call Of Duty Black Ops III. A game which many people say was the best one until Call Of Duty WWII came along.
Of course, we do not know much of anything about the 2018 Call Of Duty game, but as Treyarch posted a job listing asking for someone with experience or knowledge about “modern military technology” it has gotten us and the rest of the internet thinking that their next Call Of Duty game is going to have a modern setting, with some people even going as far to say that Call Of Duty 2018 could be Treyarch’s Modern Warfare style game.
No matter what setting the 2018 Call Of Duty game has, we are sure that Treyarch will knock it out of the park as their track record is excellent. While we have had a lot of fun with the Black Ops series, it is very interesting to think of what they could have in store with the Call Of Duty series now that their Black Ops series is closed….. or is it? For all, we know this next game could be Black Ops IV which would be very interesting not just to see what it has to offer, but also how the Call Of Duty fan base would react.
