Team Deathmatch Playlist Disappears In Black Ops IIII

Team Deathmatch Playlist Disappears In Black Ops IIII

I am still having a lot of fun with Call of Duty Black Ops IIII. I will admit that I play the game on Xbox One so my experience with what is going on for PC gamers is actually limited at best. However, I have seen some pretty annoyed people on Twitter the last couple of days in regards to Treyarch removing a popular playlist from the PC version of the game.

The Team Deathmatch Playlist is no longer on the PC version of Black Ops IIII. This is very strange as how do you have a Call of Duty game without a quick and easy way to jump into some Team Deathmatch? Well, Team Deathmatch is actually still in the game, but it is in the Deathmatch Moshpit playlist.

It has been said that the player base for the PC version of Black Ops IIII is not as high as it is on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and many people were having to wait a very long time to play Team Deathmatch and this is a way for Treyarch to hide the fact the player base is not super huge….. I think that might be reading into things a little too much. However, at the same time why the heck would they take out such a classic and staple playlist of the series?

Clearly, the focus on this years (well last years) Call of Duty is Blackout mode and Blackout mode is awesome. I can though see why this has upset people. I like Blackout, but if I still have a spare half an hour to play, 99/100 it is a quick game of Team Deathmatch I want to jump into.

The Battlefield Series What Is Next Move

The Battlefield Series What Is Next?

It is more than fair to say that Battlefield V from a sales and critical point of view has been a major disappointment for the people at DICE and EA. While I have enjoyed the game quite a bit since I picked it up at launch last year. I must admit that unless the next event or DLC really packs a punch I think I could be over Battlefield V.

I do think that Battlefield V had some great ideas, but it just never caught on when it was launched. It was launched at the worst possible time, plus let’s not forget that it was actually missing a lot of content when it was first launched.

This has made me wonder what could be next for the long-running shooter franchise. For me, I really do think that they have to get away from World War II. This is something that has been done to death at this point and I think the setting (plus the fact COD WWII did it so well a year earlier) was what made people think Battlefield V was a game that they had seen before.

For the next Battlefield game to really capture peoples attention for me they have to get the setting right. At first, I was thinking they could go to the future as this is something that the series did so many years ago but I think it could work again. Then it hit me, Battlefield needs to go back to Vietnam.

This is one war that has not been done as much as others and I think that it could make for a very interesting game. They had a lot of success with their Vietnam game many, many years ago and I think they could do it again. They have proven they know how to tell a good story so I am sure the campaign would be very interesting.

No matter what, I can see EA giving the series a couple of years to breath before they make any major decisions on what to do with it.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remaster Looks More Likely

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remaster Looks More Likely

It is looking more and more likely that this year’s Call of Duty is going to be another installment in the Modern Warfare series. Another rumor though that has been floating around is that there will also be an HD remaster of the awesome Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 campaign released as well.

This rumor has gathered more steam thanks to a “leak” on the PlayStation 4. This month for PlayStation Plus subscribers actually sees them get the Modern Warfare remaster for free which is pretty cool. But that is not what has gotten me excited.

A PEGI rating (an age rating) has shown up form Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered on PS4. The rating has since been pulled down which is pretty interesting, but it was up long enough for images to make the rounds on social media.

I am all for this as the campaign in Modern Warfare 2 is one of my favorites of the entire series. Getting the chance to play this again, but with even better graphics (to be fair it actually holds up pretty well anyway) is something I am very excited for.

You have to wonder though if Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 will have another new campaign or if they are just classing this remaster of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign as the campaign for this year’s game. Another crackpot theory that I have is that they could actually release Modern Warfare 2 remastered before as just DLC. This could be a great way to drum up interest in Modern Warfare 4 before it is released later this year.
